2010 Schaffer Cup Champions

Congratulations to the following teams for winning the 2010 Schaffer Cup this past weekend.

  • MM Brigade
  • MT Generals
  • SQ Generals
  • PW Cavalry
  • BT Destroyers

09-10 Round Robin Tie Break Procedure

If two or more teams have an equal number of points, their position in the standings will be determined by the following formulas (the tie must be broken as to all teams tied at that level). The results of the games played between the teams tied in the following order:

1. Points acquired in games played between tied teams. (Head to Head) Position being determined in order by the highest number of points.

2. Subtracting goals against from goals scored in these games. Position being determined in order by the highest surplus.

3. Lowest number of Goals Against in these games.

4. If still tied, use items 1-3 from above (in order) with results from all games against common opponents

5. Least Amount of Penalty Minutes in all league games.

6. Coin flip (if 2 teams)

7. Draw from hat (if 3 or more teams)

 

Once a team(s) breaks the tie, the team(s) is selected and the process will restart with the remaining tied teams (if applicable).
