02 Rebels Mite AA Spring
The coaching staff of the 2K2 Rebels would like to thank all the players and families that came out to our spring tryouts. We had to make some difficult decisions. All the kids looked great and worked extremely hard. We are proud to introduce the following players for the 2010 spring season.
Team Accomplishments
On March 7th the 2K2 Rebels captured their third tournament crown of the season by winning the 26th Annual EMHA Championship in Flint, Michigan.. The Rebels competed in the Mite A division which featured teams from Michigan and Canada. The Rebels advanced to the semi-finals as the number one seed following big wins against the Bay County Blizzard (Michigan) 8-1, the Orchard Lake Pirates (Michigan) 4-1 and the Milton Winterhawks (Ontario) 13-1. Your Rebels faced the Winterhawks again in the semi-finals and that win (6-1) set up the finals against Bay County where the Rebels were victorious by a score of 7-1. Christopher Dundas and Carter Kantola rung up their first goals of the season helping the Rebels on the road to victory. Congratulations 2K2 Rebels on a great team effort all weekend long.
