Congratulations to  our 14U Ravens Player, Chloe Dillen, who is a recipient of a Darian Locklear Grant Award for the 2019-2020 season.    Chloe is from a family of 8 who only recently found a love of hockey.  One of Chloe's future goals is to play college hockey.   Chloe is kind and encouraging of others, and brings a light of compassion and caring to any given situation, very similar to Darian.

The grant funds will be  used to cover player expenses, such as ice time and equipment,  for the current hockey season.

In memory of Darian, the Locklear  family set up a fund to provide grants to U-14 through U-19 female hockey players, who have financial need, reside in Michigan, and are registered with one of a handful of USA Hockey Associations.    Kensington Valley Hockey Association Ravens Girls Hockey is honored to be one of organizations selected by the family to participate in this grant program and we are grateful to the Locklear family for making this grant available to our players.
