Our Ravens program is soaring. Thanks to all of the amazing people involved, from coaches and managers to moms/dads, sponsors and volunteers, we take pride in being one of the best girls programs in the country.  From back-to-back (to-back!) State Championship teams, league champions, and big tournament wins, these girls can play!

For many, the hockey experience at KVHA has taught our girls how to set big goals, work hard to reach them, have fun doing it, give back to the community along the way, and achieve anything they set their minds to!  We are really proud of them--ALL of them.

We welcome you.  Whether you are brand new to skating or at the top of your game, we have a place in this family for you.

Tubbs Signs with Wilkes University!!!!!

Congratulations to Ravens Forward Shauna Tubbs!!! She will be attending Wilkes University in PA to continue her hockey and academic career. Shauna is very excited about the upcoming opportunity both on the ice and in the classroom over the next four years. She intends to study Sports Management or Criminology. She will be playing NCAA D3 hockey on a newly created woman's team there.

“Tubby is an elite level player and a huge addition to the Ravens this season,” commented Tom Hall  “She is a dedicated and hardworking power forward whose attitude, grit, will to compete, battle and never give up play, is infectious and something that is really hard to teach.  It’s these ingredients in her game that will make her a big success at the next level,” added Hall. “I couldn’t be happier."

"This is an amazing opportunity for Tubby,” commented Coach England.  “She is going where she truly wants to be and that’s the best part of her journey. Shauna’s game has improved all season and I know with her continued hard work, she can be a very good forward in the MAC conference.

I would like to thank my teammates for being there for me throughout my hockey career. We have built a friendship that goes well beyond hockey, and will be life long,” commented Tubbs.  “I also want to thank my family for the support and help they gave me throughout the process. It has been a long journey, full of many ups and downs, and you have always been there for me.” "Ravens are behind you...."Once a Raven...Always a Raven!!!"

Wilson to Trine University!!!!

KVHA shares in the excitement of the announcement of another college commitment, as Raven Veteran Brandi Wilson has chosen Trine University to continue her hockey and academic career.  “I can’t tell you how excited I am for “B”, commented Coach Hall. “Nothing makes me more excited than seeing a player whose been with us since she was a first year U10 getting a college commitment,” said Hall. “Brandi has been one of those players who have helped to build the Ravens legacy while contributing to the success of the program both on and off the ice. The skilled and speedy forward is one of the original Ravens who was dedicated from the start of the Ravens program. "I am very excited to play college hockey and continue my education at Trine,” said Brandi.   My visits were amazing, and I was ultimately blown away as I knew it was a great fit for me. I want to thank all of my coaches during the years for giving me the best scenario to be able to play hockey at the college level.  Thank you to all my teammates who have helped me on and off the ice with anything and everything and for their never ending support and lifelong friendship, it’s been an amazing journey.  Lastly, thank you to my family for allowing me to follow my dream! " KVHA wishes Brandi the best in her collegiate endeavors!!!!

CRUZ to Adrian Bulldogs!!!!

The KVHA Ravens are proud to announce Jena Cruz’s, Cruzzies, commitment to Adrian College.
“This is Cruzzies first season with the Ravens and she hit the ground running,” commented Coach Hall. “She brought a level of skill, work ethic, and grit that this years team leans on. It’s also going to play a big part in her future success as a Bulldog. Cruz comes from a family of successful hockey athletes, who understand  that patience along with hard work are what is important through the process. We’re so happy for the entire Cruz family.”
“First off I’d like to thank the Ravens program for giving me an opportunity with such an amazing group of players,” replied Cruz. “This team and these girls are a one of a kind group, both on and off the ice. The never ending mutual support through the rigors of the season will be my biggest take away from this year and something that I believe will be the key to our success down the stretch. I also want to thank the entire team for pushing me to be the best I can.” Cruz went on to say, “But most importantly, I want to thank my family, who have been by my side through this entire journey. This sport is like nothing else, and I know I couldn’t have done it without you.”
With a month and half  left on the calendar year, the 19U Ravens are looking forward to the final stretch. Time to physically recover and mentally prepare for a big finish. A finish that Cruz will be called upon to play a big role.
Congrats Jena, we’re all so proud of you!!!

Devin Dzumaryk commits to Trine University

Congratulations to defenseman Devin Dzumaryk who has  chosen Trine University to continue her hockey and academic career.  Her Coaches have said that Devin represents everything they could ask for in a KVHA player. Hard working, strong willed, big hearted and the ability to not sweat the small stuff. We know she is going to bring hard work, grit and a scoring touch to Trine next season.  KVHA wishes Devin the best in her collegiate endeavors!!!!

Dani England Commits to Division 1 College!

Congratulations to Dani England who has committed to Division 1 college, Minnesota State University. Miss England is one of  the first KV Ravens from back in 2010 who helped start the Girls program.

Miss England played a big part in the Ravens' Multiple State Championship teams and was committed to helping her teams to be competitive year after year. Her on ice tenacity, hockey IQ, work ethic and killer shot, along with her academic strength, probably made it an easy choice for the scouts.

KVHA wishes Dani the best in her collegiate journey on and off the ice!!!!
