When the game is over, regardless of what has transpired on the ice or whatever emotions are welling up inside you.  Be sure to give your hockey player a big hug and make sure he is healthy.  As long as that is the case.  It's all good. Really good, because he is going to have a chance to lace them back up and try it again.

You cant  ask for any more than that in Hockey or in life.
