The Kensington Valley Hockey Association (KVHA) is run by the KVHA Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is, among other things, responsible for the overall Association program and the policies and procedures of the Association. Our Directors are not paid and receive no other forms of compensation, but rather volunteer their time and talent to promote the sport of youth hockey for the benefit of the players, their families and our local community.
Board members meet once per month throughout the year. During the weeks leading up to the hockey season, a larger time commitment is needed to prepare for the season. In addition, Board Members assist with Try Hockey for Free, the KVHA All Star Game, District/State Tournaments and other events. If you wish to join this group of hard working and dedicated individuals, please complete and submit the application below. Normally, nominations are for two year terms beginning in March of 2019. In some cases, shorter terms might be available which will be determined by the election. Candidate declarations will be made available on the KVHA website and copies will be provided to members via email.
This is a tremendous opportunity to contribute to one of the largest hockey associations in the country and further advance the goals of our association.
We thank you for your consideration and application.
On March 19th, 2018,
Three (3) members were elected to the KVHA Board of Directors.
We are pleased to announce John Popma, Ryan LaChance and Joseph Gough as KVHA Executive Board Members. It is the work of these volunteers that make our association run. We have one of the largest hockey associations in the country and their investment of time, energy, and passion for the sport should be appreciated.
The new board will be meeting in the coming weeks to assign specific, functional areas of responsibility, as well as implement committees to carry out the duties of managing the association and positioning KVHA for future growth and development. Special Appointees to the KVHA Board will also be named in the near future. If you have an interest in volunteering, please apply on-line (application is under the board tab) or contact anyone on the KVHA Board.
We would like to thank all of our coaches, managers and other volunteers for the great work they do, day in and day out, for our kids.

Due to the size of the Kensington Valley Hockey Association (KVHA) and the diversity of its Members, KVHA recognizes that from time to time certain incidents may occur that result in a dispute, disagreement, or misunderstanding (referred to as "Grievances") among Members.
It is the intent of the KVHA Board of Directors to provide an opportunity for members (coaches, parents, players) to express their concerns and receive a timely and appropriate response. In order to ensure a respectful and professional experience , the board insists that coaches, parents, players and board members follow the Grievance Procedures in the below documents.
