House Program

The House program is a recreation league in which everyone who registers is drafted to a team.
Kensington Valley Hockey Association offers a House Programs for the following Divisions: Mini Mite (age 5 & 6), Mite (age 7 & 8), Squirt (age 9 & 10), PeeWee (age 11 & 12), Bantam (age 13 & 14), and Midget (15 & 16).
Our Mini-Mite, Mite and Squirt teams play in an in-house KVHA League.  Our Peewee, Bantam, and Midget teams participate in the Little Caesar's Amateur Hockey League (LCAHL) , which requires some travel.
The season is from September to Mid-March, approximately 27 weeks.

Travel Program

Travel play is intended for the more advanced player and KVHA has multiple teams for each birth year.
Fall Tryouts are typically held in June of each year and are open to everyone.  Spring Tryouts are typically held in April of each year.Travel players are selected through a tryout process by the coaching staff.
All of our KVHA Travel teams participate in the Little Caesar's Amateur Hockey League.  Travel is more of a time commitment  than house, and it is more competitive.
Each team skates 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours per week.  Coaches will schedule additional ice for away games and tournaments.
Each skater is responsible for the annual registration fee paid to KVHA plus a commitment fee to their team.
Monthly ice fees are set and collected by each team coach and/or manager and the team utilizes their funds as the team deems necessary.

Ravens Program

Our Ravens program is soaring.  We take pride in being one of the best girls programs in the country.  From back-to-back (to-back!) State Championship teams, league champions, and big tournament wins, our girls can play!

For many, the hockey experience at KVHA has taught our girls how to set big goals, work hard to reach them, have fun doing it, give back to the community along the way, and achieve anything they set their minds to!

We welcome you.  Whether you are brand new to skating or at the top of your game, we have a place in this family for you.
